Flood & Coast 2022
Published 31 May 2022
Event date: Tuesday, 7 June – Thursday, 9 June 2022
This unique event is packed with information and insights into the world of flood risk and coastal management, with speakers, exhibitors and visitors from all around the world to advance the debate about the impacts of climate change on flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM).
Capita Binnies is proud to be supporting this event with Kevin Simpson speaking at the “Acting local, thinking global: understanding natural flood management at a range of scales” session at 13.45 on 7 June 2022.
We are also supporting the Women in FCERM (WiFCERM) initiative, hosting a round-table discussion titled “Breaking the bias in flood and coastal erosion risk management” at 16.45 on 7 June 2022. Speakers will share their perspectives on what we need to do as a sector to break the bias. This session will be followed by a networking event and all are welcome. Help us shape the direction of WiFCERM’s work over the next year, as we strive towards the culture and professional experience we want in the FCERM community.
On Wednesday 8 June Capita Binnies are sponsoring the Flood & Coast Excellence Awards celebrating the recent work that has been done in our sector; demonstrating how partners and communities are delivering the Environment Agency’s vision for a nation ready and resilient to flooding and climate change – today tomorrow and to the year 2100.
Come join Capita Binnies at the Telford International Centre, Hall B2, Booth G8, on 7–9 June 2022.
