Binnies returns as Founding Sponsor of Singapore International Water Week
Binnies, an RSK company and a leading water and environment solutions provider, continues as a Founding Sponsor of Singapore International Water Week (SIWW). Slated to run from 17 to 21 April 2022 at Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore, SIWW2022 will be one of the first international water shows to be held in person in Asia since the pandemic, and will once again serve as a key meeting point for the global water industry.

Speaking as a panellist at the Water Leaders Summit, which will bring global water leaders together to share strategies, policy insights and solutions to urban water challenges, Ryder will share his insights on adaptive measures that can be taken to strengthen water security and climate challenges. Additionally, he will be contributing to the plenary session “Global Water Megatrends: Imagining the Water Sector in 2030 and Beyond’,’ where he will share his views on key drivers influencing the water industry over the next 10 to 15 years.
“As climate change brings about more extreme weather events that threaten lives and livelihoods, there is a dire need to reduce the impacts by transitioning to net-zero carbon as quickly as possible. For those in the water industry, we can move towards mitigating carbon-intensive emissions and implementing nature-based and smart solutions to safeguard the global supply of food and water,” added Ryder.
Apart from showcasing the latest product offerings at the Water Expo, representatives from Binnies and RSK will be actively sharing their industry knowledge and insights throughout the plenary sessions and technical presentations at the convention. In line with the key focal themes of SIWW2022, visitors can look forward to hearing from Binnies and RSK experts on their cutting-edge digital transformation technology and solutions and how they are helping to solve some of the world’s most pressing water issues, especially in areas covering all aspects of the urban water cycle, as well as emerging trends on climate resilience, resource recovery and digital water.

Tony Koodie, Regional Process Director for Europe and Asia at Binnies, and Eddy Fong, Process Specialist, Binnies Singapore, are joined by Binnies Digital Water Expert, Christopher Steele, Digital Products and Services at Binnies, throughout the two-day convention to share valuable insights covering the latest water treatment technologies, the impact of climate change on the design of water reclamation plants today as well as how digital water shapes the water industry of tomorrow.
