Bringing together asset management, reliability and operational leaders from across the sector, the conference will explore the key challenges and opportunities shaping the future of asset performance and reliability management.
As part of the programme, Binnies Director of Asset Management, Chris Steele, will join Emily-Jo Bowsher-Howarth, Asset Reliability Manager (Wastewater) at Southern Water, to present their case study, Sprinting to Reliability: Accelerating Asset Health Transformation.
The session will showcase how Southern Water and Binnies worked in partnership to deliver a six-month Reliability Sprint that transformed the way reliability frameworks are developed, tested and embedded within operational environments. Combining executive sponsorship, specialist reliability expertise and frontline operational insight, the initiative co-created a practical asset reliability framework aligned with ISO 55001 principles.
Chris and Emily-Jo will explore how a sprint-based approach can accelerate reliability maturity, bridge the gap between strategy and day-to-day operations, and provide a scalable model for utilities seeking to enhance resilience, improve performance and respond to increasing regulatory and environmental pressures. Attendees will gain practical insights into how organisations can move from reactive maintenance towards a more proactive, risk-based and resilience-focused approach to asset management.
