Our leakage team expands

Cambell Plant joins Binnies from Business Modelling Associates, where she served as a senior consultant to utility companies developing holistic support tools to optimise a wide range of strategic and tactical decisions, from decarbonisation to reducing leakage.

Cambell began her career as a consultant using prescriptive analytic tools to provide predominantly utility companies with bespoke solutions to complex problems. She has been technical lead on several energy utility projects, developing integrated hydraulic and investment optimisation solutions, including the development of a hydraulic hydrogen transition support tool for National Grid and leading a network resilience project for Michigan-based company Consumers Energy.

Cambell has also worked with UK water companies to help them develop long-term, sustainable strategies. She has created numerous bioresource models that have been used to inform price review investments and other key tactical and strategic decisions. Cambell created a water resilience and smart meter model to help Severn Trent Water with its smart meter roll-out programme and subsequently oversaw the introduction of a leakage intelligence decision support tool.

Cambell joins Binnies’ expanding leakage services team, which supports existing and new clients to improve their leakage performance via a suite of industry-leading digital products and solutions that combine cutting-edge technology with engineering expertise and analytics to ensure speed-to-value is realised.

Stuart White, Binnies Head of Leakage Services, says, “I’m delighted to welcome Cambell to our talented leakage services team. Cambell’s technical capability and delivery track record will supplement our skills perfectly, and I look forward to her supporting our clients to address their leakage challenges.”

To help water companies develop resilient water networks and reduce losses, Binnies has developed innovative solutions with strategic partners.
