The human side of our digital team
Binnies is delighted to announce that Neil Breton has joined the company as digital products manager. Neil is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management with over 18 years’ industry experience in the consultancy sector. He is an expert in developing and leading the implementation of innovative digital approaches for environmental assessment, surface water management and infrastructure route identification.
Neil has joined our rapidly growing digital services team to maximise the value of Binnies’ digital products. His role will involve working with external clients to understand their challenges and collaborating with our internal subject matter experts to develop our digital products and provide effective solutions.
Neil commented: “I’m really enjoying the opportunities that Binnies has to make a big difference in the water and environment sectors. Our flexible approach allows us to respond to our clients’ challenges in a really rapid and agile way. The understanding within the business of the sector’s bigger picture and industry trends enables us to deliver forward-thinking comprehensive solutions for our clients. I am looking forward to working with the team to further develop Binnies’ suite of digital tools, as the feedback I’ve had from the clients that are already using our products has been hugely positive.”
Neil’s career began in flood risk mapping and hydraulic modelling, working with many water companies and public sector organisations in the UK and overseas. His industry expertise has meant he is in demand, and he has published and presented within the UK and internationally. Neil’s digital experience has contributed to the creation and development of a range of digital tools in different markets, skills that he will be building on with Binnies.
Jo Kelsey, Head of Digital Products and Services, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Neil has chosen to join our team. His industry experience will even further enhance the water and environment subject matter expertise that is built into our digital products.”
