Binnies is pleased to welcome Jason Hill, who recently joined as delivery director for local authorities within our flood, coast and maritime (FCM) team.
Jason joined in April and brings significant experience in flood and coastal risk management, with a strong track record of delivering complex programmes for the Environment Agency and local authorities. He will lead our work with local authority clients, supporting project delivery, strengthening relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
With a background in geography and a conversion to civil engineering, Jason is an associate member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a full member of the Association for Project Management. His career spans local government and consultancy, where he has led multidisciplinary teams and managed major frameworks, specialising in NEC project management and contract administration.
At Binnies, Jason is focused on helping local authorities progress schemes into delivery and make the most of available funding. He is passionate about sharing best practice and bringing broader industry insights to support better outcomes.

Flood and coastal risk management is an increasingly critical priority, and Jason sees a clear opportunity to help clients adopt a more proactive, joined-up approach, sharing knowledge and collaborating to deliver effective, long-term solutions. Outside of work, Jason spends most of his time with his young family, whom he says are his biggest motivation.
