One day CDM roles and duties

CDM Regulations 2015
Cost £300 + VAT, duration 1 day
What it covers: An overview of the roles and responsibilities of the client, principal designer, principal contractor, designers and contractors. This course also details the CDM deliverables: pre-construction information, construction phase plan and the health and safety file, and shares best practice gained through our own project experience.

Learning styles: This course is offered as a one-day classroom-based session, containing regular knowledge checks to ensure that all of the necessary information has been understood.

Intended audience: Anyone who requires a detailed knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015 with practical guidance on how to implement them effectively.

Certification: A certificate of attendance will be available upon completion.

What it covers: A high level overview of the roles and responsibilities of the client, principal designer, principal contractor, designers and contractors. This course also introduces the CDM deliverables: pre-construction information, construction phase plan and the health and safety file, and shares best practice gained through our own project experience.

Learning styles: This course is offered as a one-hour e-learning module, containing regular knowledge checks to ensure that all of the necessary information has been understood.

Intended audience: Anyone who requires an introduction to, or refresher on, the CDM Regulations 2015.

Certification: A certificate of attendance will be available upon completion.

 

Role of the principal designer

Cost £300 + VAT, duration 1 day

What it covers: An overview of the roles and responsibilities of the CDM duty holders, focusing on the principal designer. We will share best practice gained through our own project experience of timelines, communications and the tools available to structure the role. We will examine a variety of scenarios and will discuss how to effectively put health and safety at the front of everyone’s agenda.
On completion of the course, you will be sent a Principal Designer’s Toolkit to aid you in your role.

Learning styles: This course is offered as a one-day virtual learning module, containing regular knowledge checks to ensure that all of the necessary information has been understood.

Intended audience: Anyone undertaking the principal designer role under the CDM Regulations 2015.

Certification: A certificate of attendance will be available upon completion.
