Cost £1700 + VAT, duration 3 days

This excludes the current examination booking fee of £250 for booking your examination directly with the IAM on its website.

What it covers: A detailed course covering all aspects of the certificate syllabus, using our own practical examples of where we have implemented these aspects within our clients’ organisations. These examples bring the syllabus to life to enable the candidates to commit the learning to deeper memory.

The five modules of the IAM Certificate are:

  • Principles of Asset Management
  • Asset Management Policy, Strategy and Planning
  • Managing Asset Life Cycle Decisions and Activities
  • Assessing and Managing Asset Management Risks
  • Financial and Business Impact.

Learning styles: This course is offered with two options to suit all learning styles.

  • Our three-day classroom session comprises discussions, practical examples and visual learning points.
  • Our e-learning comprises 14 modules of self-learning, each of 40–60 minutes learning time.

Intended audience: The IAM Certificate is aimed at those new to asset management or with some initial experience of working in an asset management role. Equally, you may have worked in asset management for a while and wish to embark on discipline-relevant qualifications. There are no entry requirements for the qualification and it is not essential to be an IAM member; however, registration with the IAM is required.

Certification: You will need to identify an examination venue from the IAM website. Please ensure you have registered and are logged in before booking your examination. The IAM website has further details regarding the composition of the examination.
