Bryan is a resourceful leader who retains a strong passion for engineering across the various disciplines. He is experienced in providing efficient engineering solutions through consultation and detailed design and commissioning phases.

Bryan commented, “I am excited to join Binnies as it continues to grow in AMP7 and prepares for AMP8. I look forward to bringing my expertise and experience to drive the asset health business unit forward and utilise our well-established engineering, construction, consulting and asset management functions to support our service delivery. I am also eager to work with our specialist companies from across the wider RSK Group.”

Steve Swift, Director of Delivery, said, “Asset health is crucial to the water sector, and integration across all assets is essential. It is a key component in achieving asset resilience and aligns with our integrated approach such as the asset health target operational model (AhTOM). This initiative increases operational excellence, enhances asset health and delivers for our customers by drawing upon our skills across the asset life cycle. Bryan’s knowledge and skills provide new opportunities for us to help our clients in this area.”

Our broad capability, including initiatives such as AhTOM, focuses on sustainable improvement in asset health by fusing strategy, asset insight, enablement, operation and maintenance services and capital intervention to create a complete integrated offering. With the approach of AMP8, our clients need a healthy, resilient asset base that is optimised to meet challenging client outcomes. As it heads towards PR24, the industry must ensure asset resilience through strategic planning and investment and look beyond five-year AMP cycles to provide resilient and healthy water systems for future generations.

Early identification of these challenges within the industry has already led to water utilities recognising the benefits of asset health focus and the value Binnies can provide.
