Iain Humphreys joins Binnies UK, bringing with him an excellent understanding of both the water sector and the Binnies business.
He was a senior leader with Black & Veatch for many years, until 2019 when it sold the now-Binnies business to RSK Group.
Iain previously worked as head of Totex solutions as part of the eight₂O Alliance with Thames Water, developing the asset management focus and multidisciplinary approach. Latterly, as client director for Black & Veatch, he was influential in winning multiple AMP7 contracts, particularly in Southern England.
He assumes the line management for the Binnies operations team and will focus on operational and quality processes. Iain will also drive the development of the engineering delivery team, a significant growth strategy for the UK business.
In preparation for the forthcoming AMP8 contracts in the water utility sector, Iain’s organisational skills will help mobilise recent contract wins and maintain high-quality performance as Binnies continues to recruit more staff to the business.
His recent experience as managing director of the global mining water business of Black & Veatch will support the growth of Binnies’ offering in Australia and other international contracts.
