Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water’s AMP8 programme represents a significant step forward, with a major focus on sustainability, biodiversity and reducing carbon emissions in line with the organisation’s 2040 carbon reduction targets and the objectives outlined in the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 and the Environment (Wales) Act 2016.

Binnies’ appointment to Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water’s Capital Design and Build Framework positions the company as a key delivery partner, playing a critical role in supporting their ambitious capital programme. We will work closely within Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water’s ‘Capable Owner structure to deliver essential infrastructure and treatment projects. This will involve early contractor involvement (ECI) during the feasibility and optioneering phases to ensure the solutions selected are both cost-effective and buildable, with a strong focus on delivering schemes on time and within budget that meet the needs and objectives of Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and its customers and communities.

Binnies will play a key role in helping Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water meet key objectives through innovation in project delivery and providing low-carbon and nature-based solutions that enhance biodiversity and reduce environmental impacts.
