About the speakers
Dylan Powell is a Graduate Civil Engineer at Binnies and the 2023 NCE Graduate of the Year. Dylan entered the emerging contaminants space through his MEng research investigating microplastic removal in the wastewater treatment process.
Anna Palfrey is an Environmental Scientist at Binnies, with a strong interest in emerging contaminants following her MSc in Environmental Consultancy looking at the risk assessment of pharmaceuticals in the environment. Navdip Kaur is a Graduate Civil Engineer at Binnies. Navdip first started looking at emerging contaminants whilst researching for her MSc project, which focused on the breakdown behaviour and release of organic components by plastics in the environment
