The CIWEM Welsh branch in partnership with ICE Cymru
Flood & Coast 2025 features a vibrant programme including an exhibition, interactive workshops, the Innovation Hub, Property Flood Resilience Training and Certification, and the Women in flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM) initiative.
Hannah Burgess, Regional Delivery Director (FCERM) for Binnies UK, has had the special honour of representing CIWEM as their president for the year 2024/2025, and will be presenting throughout the week’s activities on the theme of ‘The Ripple Effect’ – a charge to us all to consider resilience and adaptability in our changing climate.
Furthering the Binnies presence will be Emily Clarke, last years junior president of CIWEM, Kevin Simpson, Binnies UK Flood, Coast and Environment Director, who will be leading a workshop on ‘Demystifying Biodiversity Net Gain’, and other Binnies professionals sharing their expertise with the flood risk management sector.
We are especially honoured to be Gold Sponsors of the Flood & Coast Excellence Awards Dinner, celebrating outstanding contributions across the FCERM community.
