Graduate civil engineers, Dylan Powell and Navdip Kaur investigate PFAS, the two contaminants that have been coined as the industry’s ‘hot topics’ and are a cause of concern.

Dylan and Navdip explore the impact of these microplastics on the environment and the position they hold in the water cycle. They present the important role that water engineers can play, and the skills they need to use to address this challenge.

This article first appeared in the September 2024 edition of the Institute of Water magazine.
